Georgina Vidriales Chan is part of the NGO: SENDAS A.C. (Pathways and Connections of Sustainable and Autonomous Development). SENDAS was first founded in the Tuxtla and Tierra de Santa Marta region of Veracruz, MX in 1999. Since then, SENDAS has been working mostly in the Antigua River Watershed,Veracruz. Its focus is to promote environmental conservation through the responsible management of natural resources. Working closely with the organic producers, SENDAS fosters a new environmental paradigm. Through educational campaigns and community centered environmental policy, they lay the foundations for a sustainable lifestyle that benefits both the people who live and work the land and those who live in the city.

SENDAS fue primero fundada en la región de los Tuxtla y Tierra de Santa Marta, Veracruz en 1999, pero desde está trabajando principalmente en la Cuenca Alta del río La Antigua. Su enfoque de es promover la sustentabilidad, cuidando el medio ambiente mediante el buen manejo de recursos naturales. Asesorando y capacitando a los campesinos, SENDAS A.C. esta promoviendo una nueva racionalidad ambiental que permita una buena vida para la gente del campo y de la ciudad.
